There are moments in life when God allows you to witness a problem, not so you can complain about it, but so you can become part of the solution.

FAAB Funds was born from one of those moments.

Years ago, I watched a close friend practice what many people in Africa know as the “AJO” system — a manual contribution and savings method where ordinary people contribute small amounts of money daily or weekly to help themselves survive, build businesses, pay bills, and create opportunities. What touched me deeply was not just the system itself, but the discipline behind it. I saw market women, small business owners, young entrepreneurs, and hardworking families create financial stability from consistency, trust, and community.

But I also saw the pain.

I saw brilliant entrepreneurs with powerful ideas unable to access funding because traditional financial institutions considered them “too small.” I saw hardworking people trapped under impossible interest rates and unfair lending systems designed to keep them dependent instead of empowering them. I saw businesses die, not because they lacked vision, but because they lacked access.

And in those moments, a burden was placed on my heart.

God began to speak to me about building a financial institution that would not only lend money, but restore dignity… a platform that would not only create wealth, but create discipline… a system that would not only generate profit, but transform lives.

That vision became FAAB Funds.
